Fun Implementation of a Weight Loss Plan
Plenty of people find it very hard to stick to their diet and lose weight. One factor here is that they consider the weight loss and diet programs boring. Add to that the difficulty in the implementation. Usually they would ask a person to give up the food that they love. The need here is to have a weight loss program that the individuals would love thus making them have a fun experience while losing weight. I am Karan Naidoo and have problems regarding my weight. This began when my parents suddenly decided to become vegetarians. Being 11 years old that time, I decided to try it too. My mother cooked the meals that we eat.
This happened 21 year ago and it was during this time that the food for vegetarians was limited. I missed eating meat and was not impressed on the food given to me. I was constantly hungry and started to munch on snack type foods. Because of this, I slowly gained weight over the years and people seem not to mind. Once people started to notice it, they taunted me at school and oftentimes came home depressed.
Eating was something that comforted me and made me feel better. Just a few years ago, I went out and looked for ways in helping me lose weight quickly. Even though I tried plenty of diets, none of them worked. No diet suited me thus making me lose weight even harder. I am someone who needs enjoyment in something to make me continuously interested. Since I did not enjoy going to school, everyday was a struggle for me.
Lose Weight the Fun Way
On a Saturday night a few years ago, my friend (Dave) and I decided to drink a few beers. We were talking about random things and then I told him about my mission in losing weight and told him that I was unable to find a suitable weight loss program.
Dave told me to try a competitive sport and I agreed. I thought about playing tennis three or four times a week and asked him if he could play with me. He then asked me if I wanted to join his six a side football team that he plays twice a week. I gave it a go.
Even though I was drunk when I came home, I felt pleased. I might have found the best weight loss plan ever. The exercise would be able to bring benefits to my weight, health and fitness. In addition, I can now eat whatever and whenever I want since I am an active person. I wanted to lose the unnecessary fat and was able to do this by engaging in sports. It was no problem for me in reaching my desired weight since I was enjoying doing it.
Today, I continuously play tennis and football as well as other sports. I do this not because I want to lose more weight but because I enjoy it. There is nothing better than to reach your desired weight by having fun losing it.
